In my part of the world, the earth is fighting its way out of one final (I hope) dump of snow. Every day, the sun gives us five more minutes of her light and the snow gradually nourishes the earth. The life that receded into itself through the winter months is preparing for the day where – overnight – the world will burst into colour and life. Spring is just about here and, with it, my energy is rising.
Here is an overview of how I’ve filled out my monthly intention-setting worksheet in case it brings you inspiration for how you’d like to enter this month. My monthly planner is a set of worksheets that helps you focus your energy, clarify your goals and bring more mindfulness to your everyday life. While you use it for planning, it is also a record of this season of your life – who you are and how you desire to move in the world.
The energy I’m ready to welcome into my life this month is:
- Hope
- Aspiration
- Creativity
- Connection
To take care of myself I will:
- Respect the needs of my mind and body – and practice checking in with those needs
- Take time to step back with a float tank session
- Celebrate the season with an (at-home) lavender manicure
Our family would like to:
- Explore a new park/playground
- Turnover the kids’ wardrobes so we are ready for splashing season
- Receive a visit from the Easter bunny
- Take a trip out to the farm to visit family
Around the home we will:
- Finish up spring cleaning – the laundry room, entrances & hallways, kitchen and garage/outdoors are all we have left
- Get started planning & planting our garden
- Decide on what outdoor projects we will tackle this year and start making preparations
What intentions are you setting for the month ahead? I’d love to hear in the comments below!
