About Edith Carlisle

As a new mother, I was constantly reminded: You can’t pour from an empty cup! Make time for yourself! Self-care isn’t selfish! But between parenting, household responsibilities, and everything else on my plate, I kept wondering—where was I supposed to find the time? And even if I did carve out a moment and ignore the raging to-do list, then what? Maybe I’d decompress by reading a book, scrolling mindlessly, or… looking at photos of my son. 😊 Oh—wait! Nap time is over. Crap.

I needed a structured way to set my intentions, clarify my goals, and honor my own ambitions—without pretending my reality as a parent didn’t exist. But every planning system I tried required hours of setup and ignored the unique demands of family life. Every podcast or video titled about doing it all with five kids required support I didn’t have or couldn’t afford. Nothing fit. So, I created a system for myself and parents like me.

Enter Edith Carlisle.

This suite of life design tools offers a practical, parent-centered approach to weekly, monthly, and annual planning. These worksheets are affordable, flexible, and, most importantly, realistic. Unlike traditional planners, Edith Carlisle is designed specifically for parents—helping you set meaningful intentions while keeping family life and your values at the center.

These worksheets are a simple, repeatable and effective system that lets us approach each week, month, and year mindfully to reflect on what you truly want, set intentions, and create the life you envision. It’s about making the most of the time we spend on ourselves and the time we spend with our children.

This isn’t about doing more. It’s about designing a life with more of what matters and less of what doesn’t.
